Welcome to the Chambersburg Police Department's Website. Our department consists of 35 fulltime sworn officers, 1 co-responder/community liaison, and 3 administrative personnel. We strive to provide professional police services to more than 23,000 residents and the many visitors of Chambersburg.
We work with citizens every day to maintain community safety and quality of life for our residents. We ask you to partner with our department to
report suspicious activity in your neighborhood and recommend you get to know your neighbors to enhance our sense of community. As the county
seat of Franklin County our department is responsible for the public safety of a diverse community at the crossroads of Route 30 and Route 11.
Franklin County has been one of the fastest growing counties in the Pennsylvania in recent years.
